Chai Dandy Tea with Ginger Recipe.

Chai Dandy Tea with Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dandelion root tea (brewed from roasted dandelion root)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced or grated
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions:

    1. Brew the dandelion root tea by steeping 1-2 tsp of roasted dandelion root in 1 cup of boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Strain and set aside.
    2. In a small saucepan, combine the spices, fresh ginger, and milk. Gently heat on low, stirring occasionally to avoid scalding.
    3. Once warmed, pour in the brewed dandelion tea and mix well.
    4. Strain the mixture into a cup to remove the ginger and spice residue.
    5. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
