The Fertility Reset Retreat: A Day of Deep Nourishment.

Last Sunday, we gathered at Bump studio in Dee Why for The Fertility Reset Retreat. It was a day dedicated to nurturing the body, calming the mind, and resetting the nervous system for women on their fertility journey.

The retreat was designed to bring together ancient and modern therapies to create a deeply restorative experience.

Why we created The Fertility Reset Retreat

On the journey to conception, it’s easy to feel stuck in cycles of appointments, tests, and trying to “do everything right.” This retreat was designed to press pause on that noise and stress. We wanted to ground women back into their bodies with discussions and therapies that support stress relief, hormonal support, and emotional wellbeing.

Here's what unfolded on the day:

Sound Healing with Elsa Vanko
We began with sound healing session with Elsa Vanko. The soothing vibrations of singing bowls and instruments relaxed everyone including the practitioners and facilitators! Sound healing invites deep relaxation, dissolving mental chatter. Sound therapy has been shown to reduce stress hormones and calm the nervous system – a perfect support for fertility health.

Stress response with Kate Walton - Retreat host, Kate talked about Fright, Flight Freeze and Fawn the differences, what they look and feel like and what each type of person needs to ease their nervous system defaults.

I spoke about Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in relation to IVF and assisted reproductive technologies and then differently to Natural Pre conception care.

Ayurvedic Wisdom with Caroline Robertson
Next, Naturopath Caroline Robertson shared insights from Ayurvedic medicine, exploring how diet, daily routine, and herbal supports can balance hormones, improve digestion, and enhance fertility. Caroline’s practical tips reminded us of the power of aligning with nature’s rhythms to restore balance in the body.

Womb Hara Massage with Natalie Andrew
We were then immersed in a  a beautiful Womb Hara Massage session guided by Natalie Andrew. This gentle abdominal therapy helps to release tension, improve circulation to the reproductive organs, and reconnect with this deeply intuitive part of ourselves. Many participants expressed how grounded and emotionally centred they felt after this nurturing session.

Group Hypnotherapy and Acupuncture to close the Retreat
To complete our retreat, participants were guided through group hypnotherapy alongside a gentle acupuncture session. This powerful combination helped everyone move into a deeply relaxed state, nourishing both mind and body, and resetting the nervous system to create space for healing and possibility.

Throughout the day, there was a sense of warmth, community, and shared intention. It was such a cohesive group that shared some wonderful heartwarming moments together.

Kate, Natalie and I are so grateful to everyone who joined us. If you missed out this time, stay tuned – Kate from Mind Body Fertility will be announcing future dates in the coming months to continue supporting you on your path to parenthood.
