Synchronise your body, breath and mind with our Seasonal Yoga and Acupuncture on the Northern Beaches, a unique two-hour wellness experience designed to attune to Winter's rhythms.

🌿 Winter Wellness Mini-retreat Highlights

  • 1-Hour Yin Yoga with Suzie Taylor of Studio 5 Mona Vale: this session combines gentle Yin yoga poses to soften fascia and muscles and reset your nervous system.

  • Acupressure included during the Yin Yoga, with me! (Katika Funnell) acupressure techniques to release tension and stimulate energy flow on the Kidney and Bladder meridians. OUr intention is to support the Water Element associated with Winter. 
  • 30-Minute Acupuncture & Yoga Nidra: To complete the Yoga class, experience deep relaxation as acupuncture is seamlessly integrated with Yoga Nidra meditation, to help you relax even further and give your muscles the delicious rest they need.

  • Seasonal Refreshments: Conclude the morning with a specially crafted Nepalese chai tea blend and delicious healthy bliss balls, to nourish your digestion afterwards.

Your Yoga Teacher will be Suzie Taylor

With over 25 years of yoga practice, Suzie Taylor brings a wealth of experience to her teachings. Her qualifications include a Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training from the International Yoga Teachers' Association (IYTA), along with additional training in Yin, Restorative, and Meditation practices. Your Acupuncturist will be Katika Funnell

In private practice since 2003, Katika has over 20 years experience helping her clients manage pain, stress and health problems. Katika is a degree-qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner, having studied at UTS for 4 years. She travelled to China to complete an 8 week internship at the Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital which brought her Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) training to life!  Katika practices at her clinic locations in Brookvale and Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
